Seen a bubble in the Sea, that is our story
You came with the hands empty, empty.
And nothing will you carry.
So why caught in misery

You are deep in illusion, happily, happily.
Fooling yourself with books, sex, and brandy.
Ten, twenty, thirty, forty, fifty, sixty.
The clock is ticking and you are tipsy.
You breathe so you think that you are alive.
But dead are your face and dead is your eye.
Your mind is dreamy,
The world is the sea.
Wake up or you sink,
That is Kabir’s prophecy.

इक दिन जीना, दो दिन जीना,
जीना बरस पचासा है।।
अंतकाल बीसा सौ जीना,
फिर मारने की आसा है।।
ज्यों-ज्यों पाँव धरो धरनी में,
त्यों-त्यों यम नियराता है।।
कहै कबीर, सुनो भाई साधो,
ग़ाफ़िल गोता खाता है।।

राम भजा सो जीता जग में,

हाथ सुमरनी, पेट कतरनी,
पढ़त भगवत गीता ॥
हृदय शुद्ध किया नहीं बौरे,
कहत सुनत दिन बीता ॥

आन देव की पूजा कीन्ही,
गुरु से रहा अमीता ॥
धन, यौवन सब यहीं रहेगा,
अंत समय चले रीता ॥
बावरिया ने भाँवर डारी,
मोह डाल सब कीता ॥

कहें कबीर काल धर खैय्हें,
जैसे मृग को चीता ॥

जिस तन लगिआ इश्क कमाल,
नाचे बेसुर ते बेताल ।

दरदमन्द नूं कोई न छेड़े,
जिसने आपे दुःख सहेड़े,
जम्मणा जीणा मूल उखेड़े,
बूझे अपणा आप खिआल ॥

जिसने बेस इश्क दा कीता,
धुर दरबारों फतवा लीता,
जदों हजूरों प्याला पीता,
कुछ ना रह्या सवाल जवाब ॥

जिसदे अन्दर वस्स्या यार,
उठिया यार ओ यार पुकार,
ना ओह चाहे राग न तार,
ऐवें बैठा खेडे हाल ॥

बुल्हिआ शाह नगर सच पाया,
झूठा रौला सब्ब मुकाया,
सच्चियां कारण सच्च सुणाया,
पाया उसदा पाक जमाल ॥

हमन है इश्क मस्ताना,
हमन को होशियारी क्या ?
रहें आज़ाद या जग से,
हमन दुनिया से यारी क्या ?
जो बिछुड़े हैं पियारे से,
भटकते दर-ब-दर फिरते,
हमारा यार है हम में,
हमन को इंतजारी क्या ?
खलक सब नाम अपने को,
बहुत कर सिर पटकता है,
हमन गुरनाम साँचा है,
हमन दुनिया से यारी क्या ?
न पल बिछुड़े पिया हमसे,
न हम बिछड़े पियारे से,
उन्हीं से नेह लागी है,
हमन को बेकरारी क्या ?
कबीरा इश्क का माता,
दुई को दूर कर दिल से,
जो चलना राह नाजुक है,
हमन सिर बोझ भारी क्या ?

समझ देख मन मीत पियरवा,
आशिक हो कर सोना क्या रे।

पाया हो तो दे ले प्यारे,
पाए-पाए फिर खोना क्या रे।

रूखा सूखा गम का टुकड़ा,
चिकना और सलोना क्या रे।

जब अँखियन में नींद घनेरी,
तकिया और बिछौना क्या रे।

कहैं कबीर प्रेम का मारग,
सिर देना तो रोना क्या रे।

जो मैं बौरा तो राम तोरा
लोग मरम का जाने मोरा।
मैं बौरी मेरे राम भरतार
ता कारण रचि करूँ श्रृंगार।
माला तिलक पहरि मन माना
लोगनि राम खिलौना जाना।
थोड़ी भगति बहुत अहंकारा
ऐसे भगता मिलै अपारा।
लोग कहें कबीर बौराना
कबीर का मरम राम जाना।

ना हम नरक लोक को जाते,
ना हम स्वर्ग सिधारे हो ।
सबहीं कर्म हमारो किया,
हम कर्मन ते न्यारे हो ॥
या मत को कोई बिरला बूझै,
सो अटल हो बैठा हो ।
मत कबीर काहू को थापै,
मत काहू को मेटो हो ॥

खलक सब रैन का सपना ।
समझ मन कोई नहीं अपना ॥
कठिन है मोह की धारा ।
बहा सब जात संसारा ॥
घड़ा जो नीर का फूटा ।
पत्र ज्यों डार से टूटा ॥
ऐसे नर जात ज़िंदगानी ।
अजहुँ तौ चेत अभिमानी ॥
निरखि मत भूल तन गोरा ।
जगत में जीवना थोरा ॥
तजो मद लोभ चतुराई ।
रहो निसंक जग माही ॥
सजन परिवार सुत दारा ।
सभी एक रोज़ है न्यारा ॥
निकसि जब प्रान जावैंगे ।
कोई नहीं काम आवेंगे ॥
सदा जिनि जान यह देही ।
लगा ले नाम से नेही ॥
कहें कबीर अविनासी ।
लिये जम काल को फांसी ॥
